When and where is the conference taking place?

September 9th – 11th, 2026 Embassy Suites Hotel, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Venue details and hotel block information are available on our registration page at https://nlbha.org/2026conference/.

How do I register for the conference?

Presenters, Promotores(as), Students Registration and Group Registration discounted rates are available. Visit https://nlbha.org/2026registration/. On-site registration is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

I’m a presenter/panelist. What information do I need to know?

Complete your tasks on the CVENT platform prior to the conference dates. All presenters should check in at the registration desk at least 30 minutes before their session. A/V equipment, moderators, and session support will be available. Please have your PowerPoint uploaded to CVENT in advance and bring a backup on a USB.

Will continuing education units (CEUs) be offered?

Yes. CEs for behavioral health professionals as well as CMEs for clinical psychologists/psychiatrists through the American Psychiatric Association will be offered. Please check with your individual State requirements for acceptance of CE’s through NAADAC and through APA for CME’s. Upon completion of workshop evaluations, CE’s will be provided no later than 30 days after the completion of the conference. Approximately 17.75 CE credits will be provided for a full 3-day attendance and plenary session attendance through NAADAC for behavioral health providers. 6.0-7.75 CME credits will be offered for clinical credit through the APA joint provider accreditation.

Are scholarships available?

A limited number of registration scholarships are available for students and community-based attendees. Contact Dr. Rocky J Romero at DrRocky@nlbha.org for further information.

What travel and hotel accommodations are available?

Discounted hotel rates are available through our conference hotel partner. Hotel info can be found at https://nlbha.org/2026hotel/under the “Hotel Registration” tab. Attendees are responsible for their own travel.

How can my organization exhibit or sponsor the conference?

When is the last day to sign up as a Sponsor, Exhibitor or Advertiser?

The deadline to secure sponsorship opportunities is July 15. Sponsorships received after this date will still be accepted; however, they will not include marketing benefits such as logo placement in promotional materials.

Will sessions be recorded or livestreamed?

None of the sessions will be recorded or livestreamed.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

No refund will be issued. If you have any questions, please contact nlbhafinance@nlbha.org.

How do I request dietary restrictions?

Dietary restriction information is collected during the registration process. Participants are encouraged to indicate any dietary needs when completing their registration form so that appropriate accommodations can be made.

How do I request interpretation services?

Requests for interpretation services are also included as part of the registration form. Attendees should specify their language needs during registration to ensure that appropriate interpretation support is arranged.

When will the Full Conference Agenda be posted?

Is there shuttle service from the airport to the Embassy Suites?

Please note that there is no hotel shuttle service available from the Embassy Suites Hotel. However, ride-sharing services such as Uber are readily available in the area and are recommended for transportation to and from the event.

When is the Early Bird conference registration deadline?

May 31st 

Will there be networking opportunities?

Yes, there will be several opportunities to network with attendees. Including a 3-day Feria de Salud – Cultura es Medicina, an event open to conference attendees. Guests can look forward to booths showcasing local community resources, vibrant music and dancing, traditional healers, and much more! There will also be a Selena Tribute – Music and Dance by Jenny Perez Sotolongo on Thursday night with all conference attendees invited in the main ballroom!
