The program demonstrates evidence of effectiveness at grades 4-5. Separate programming for grades 6-8 (middle school) and for grades 9-12 (high school) are available through its companion program, Michigan Model for Health: Middle SchoolThe data presented in this description is for Michigan Model for Health: Elementary onlyThe program provides a lesson-based approach to social emotional learning. It teaches students the knowledge and skills they need to build and maintain healthy behaviors and lifestyles. Age-appropriate and sequential lessons focus on the most serious health challenges school-aged children face.
