Guiding Good Choices (II)
Designed to help parents develop positive parenting and family management skills. The goal of the program is to prevent substance abuse and other risky behaviors among teens by improving family communication and family bonding which has been shown to be critically important in reducing or inhibiting adolescent participation in antisocial behaviors. Parents learn to set clear family guidelines on drugs, as well as learn and practice skills to strengthen family bonds, help their children develop healthy behaviors, and increase children’s involvement in the family.
