EduGuide provides lesson-based and organizational approaches to Social-Emotional learning (SEL). Additionally, the lesson-based portion of EduGuide is facilitated largely online with guidance for bringing topics from lessons into classroom discussion. The program offers strategies for understanding context. This includes teachers reviewing and responding to student reflections about their lived experiences weekly. Additionally, the program includes guidance for professional learning conversations among staff for integrating learnings from these reflections into classroom instructionEduGuide equips all school staff to coach students’ social emotional strengths in everything they do and engages all students to mentor their peers in key growth skills. Together they build a stronger learning community and partner with parents, colleges, employers and other local groups whom they can invite to join their EduGuide mentoring network.
