Responsibilities

This is a 100% FTE position to support one or more clinical research studies recruitment, patient screening and data collection and tracking fluently in English and Spanish. Incumbent will provide research and administrative support for one or more clinical research studies. Incumbent will independently manage tasks and documentation related to funded projects, including managing study data (conducting study recruitment, scheduling and tracking patient follow-up, collection, uploading, editing, entering and analysis of study data). Incumbent will participate in academic and technical grant writing. Incumbent will have demonstrated experience working independently on major portions of clinical research including scheduling, obtaining consent, data entry and extraction, regulatory reporting and DSMB related tasks. Incumbent independently manage major portions of clinical trials recruitment, scheduling and EPIC functionality.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Comprehensive knowledge of conducting clinical research on clinical trials
  • Computer skills sufficient to effectively use MS Word, Excel, Outlook, EndNote, web interfaces and patient and research databases such as REDCap
  • Demonstrated knowledge and of federal, State and university regulatory requirements for clinical research and Institutional Review Board guidelines
  • Experience managing and conducting accurate and thorough data collection, maintenance of research records, and strict adherence to study protocol
  • Able to travel to and work at off-site at clinics in Sacramento, Yolo and/ or Eldorado County and or County surrounding Sacramento

PREFERRED

  • College level education in psychology, clinical research, research methodology or related field or equivalent education and experience
  • Specialized knowledge of EPIC research functionality and procedure to meet the needs of multiple research projects
  • Knowledge and understanding of current research developments in the field of telepsychiatry
  • Experience with grant writing and submission and experience with academic and technical writing
