SUMMARY:4th annual Taos Bike Rodeo
DESCRIPTION:Join us in providing the children of Taos a fun\, safe\, and supervised Taos Bike Rodeo for the purpose of building youth awareness of promoting cycling for fun\, transportation\, safe biking practices\, and fitness. Statistics reveal that many young people are involved in bicycle-related crashes. We need to find ways to ensure that our youth are better informed about road safety. We hope to be able to successfully convey this type of message to young people during this Taos Bike Rodeo. Riding safely is fun. This event will expose youth to the skills they need to be safe cyclists. \n\n\n\nThere will be skilled activities\, exhibits/booths\, games for the youth\, and free drawings for bicycles in different sizes. The Taos Police Department will provide child fingerprinting. Free event t-shirts will be given to the youth completing the activities and visiting the booths and games. Free helmets will be provided for children needing a helmet while supplies and sizes last. Refreshments will be provided. \n\n\n\nEveryone Deserves will provide education on the importance of behavioral health and assist with referrals to behavioral health providers and resource navigation.
