DESCRIPTION:Learn how taking a statin might help older adults live longer\, healthier lives by preventing dementia\, disability\, or heart disease. \n\n\n\nThe National Latino Behavioral Health Association is partnering with the Duke Clinical Research Institute to raise awareness about the largest dementia prevention study in the United States. \n\n\n\nThe PREVENTABLE Study\, led by Duke Clinical Research Institute\, aims to investigate whether statins\, commonly used to lower cholesterol\, could help prevent dementia in individuals aged 75 and older. \n\n\n\nIf you or someone you care about is 75 or older\, we invite you to join our Facebook Live session with one of the researchers from the PREVENTABLE Study.
